About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Hospital Pharmacist to join our team at Collarcare. The ideal candidate will have a background in hospital pharmacy, proficiency with the ieMR system, and experience working within the Australian healthcare system, particularly with QLD Health or Mackay HHS.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in a hospital setting.
  2. Review and verify medication orders for correctness, including dosage and potential interactions.
  3. Provide medication counseling to healthcare professionals and patients as needed.
  4. Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to ensure effective medication management and patient care.
  5. Utilize the ieMR system for medication management, including order entry, inventory management, and patient records.
  6. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and hospital policies.
  7. Monitor and manage medication inventory, including ordering and restocking as required.
  8. Participate in hospital committees and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  1. Previous experience working as a pharmacist in a hospital setting.
  2. Proficiency in using the ieMR (Integrated electronic Medical Record) system.
  3. AHPRA Registration (must be current).
  4. Australian working rights.
  5. Updated Australian Immunisation History.
  6. National Police Check.
