About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Career Coach to join our team at headspace Port Lincoln. As a Vocational Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering employment supports to young people in partnership with a multidisciplinary team.
You will work closely with headspace staff to support young people in gaining employment or engaging in education. Your goal will be to provide guidance and assistance to help them achieve their vocational goals and improve their overall wellbeing.
Liaising with local employers, education providers, and health professionals will be an essential part of your role, ensuring ease of access and smooth transition across various employment and educational opportunities for young people.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Knowledge and expertise in the employment sector combined with understanding, skills, and interest in youth mental health
- Qualifications in Vocational Services, Employment Services, Career Development, Education, or Youth Work, or relevant transferable experience
We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and making a positive impact on their lives. If you have a strong background in the employment sector and a genuine interest in youth mental health, we encourage you to apply.
Benefits- 5 weeks annual leave plus 17.5% leave loading

- Salary range: dependant on experience $67,119 - $72,715 per year (pro-rata for part time positions)
