Job Description


As a Warehouse Engineer with CEVA Logistics, you will play a crucial role in improving process efficiency across our contract logistics warehouse business operations.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Work closely with sites to identify and implement process improvements using LEAN and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Develop and deliver project improvements that focus on identifying opportunities, process re-engineering, driving efficiency through process change, and redesigning and implementing operational layout changes.
  • Provide guidance and support to sites to enable them to successfully conduct Kaizen activities and achieve target levels on our site accreditation program.
  • Develop and maintain Business Process Efficiency (BPE) tools, including 5S & Scheduling tool, performance boards, productivity reports, and utilisation reports.


Requirements


To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • Tertiary qualifications in industrial engineering, logistics and supply chain management, industrial design, or a related field.
  • Solid experience gained in a related role in any industry, preferably in logistics/supply chain, manufacturing, resources, or a related field.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with process improvement tools, Kaizen, LEAN, and other related methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUPS and pivot tables.
