Senior Technical Leader

At our organization, we provide investors with high-quality content and data to make informed investment decisions. Our two platforms cater to Australia's leading platform for expert analysis and comprehensive market data.

The successful Senior Technical Leader will lead a team of engineers working on our investment platforms, combining hands-on development with team leadership. The role requires driving technical strategy, promoting best practices, and enhancing our platforms and internal systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Architecting and building the next generation of our investment platforms.
  • Re-platforming legacy systems onto modern infrastructure using appropriate tools.
  • Developing high-performance APIs, unified frontend systems, and scalable backend services for millions of investor interactions.
  • Implementing AI and LLMs for investment data extraction, content summarization, and automation.
  • Mentoring engineers, contributing to technical leadership, and defining engineering standards and strategies.
  • Collaborating with product and design teams to influence product direction and roadmap.

We're looking for a lead engineer with strong experience in Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, and frontend frameworks like Vue.js or React. Experience with Cloud/AWS is also required. The ideal candidate should be an aspiring technical leader eager to grow into a senior technical leader role.
