Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Team Member to join our kitchen team. As a key player in our culinary operations, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality Italian dishes to the highest standards.

Your passion for culinary arts and creativity will shine through in every plate, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will work closely with our Head Chef to develop innovative ideas that enhance the guest experience.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Culinary Excellence: Prepare, cook, and present high-quality Italian dishes to the highest standards, adhering to our strict quality control measures.
  2. Team Leadership: Supervise your section to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency during prep and service, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
  3. Innovation and Creativity: Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu planning, specials, and food styling, contributing fresh ideas that enhance the guest experience.
  4. Safety and Hygiene: Maintain impeccable food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards, including accurate record keeping.
  5. Supply Chain Management: Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and manage storage to minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency.
  6. Talent Development: Train and mentor junior chefs, fostering their growth and success.
Requirements
  1. Experience: 2–4 years' experience as a Demi Chef or similar, with a strong passion for Italian cuisine and demonstrated supervisory experience.
  2. Qualifications: Qualifications in Commercial Cookery/Culinary Arts from a registered training provider.
  3. Cuisine Expertise: Previous experience in Italian or Mediterranean cuisine is highly regarded.
  4. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and a solutions-focused approach to teamwork.
  5. Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  6. Grooming and Hygiene: Commitment to maintaining high standards of grooming, hygiene, and food safety.
