About the Role

Acknowledge Education is seeking an experienced and visionary Education Manager to lead our Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) program to new heights.

This pivotal role will oversee the strategic direction, operational excellence, and day-to-day management of the VCE program, ensuring seamless delivery in compliance with VCAA standards.

As a middle leadership position reporting directly to the Director of Studies, you will play a central role in shaping our educational strategy and driving academic success.

Key Responsibilities
  • VASS Operations Management: Support the efficient management of VASS operations, ensuring timely and accurate data collection and analysis.
  • VCE Program Coordination: Facilitate daily coordination and improvement of the VCE program, aligning with VCAA standards and curriculum trends.
  • Academic Reporting and Liaison: Conduct regular academic reporting, establish strong liaison with students, guardians, and staff, and deliver course advice to support student success.
  • Mentorship and Teaching: Provide academic and professional mentorship to staff, engaging in effective discussions and teaching the VCE curriculum to inspire excellence.
  • Timetable Scheduling: Contribute to the scheduling of VCE timetables, ensuring optimal resource allocation and student outcomes.
  • Student Behaviour Management: Effectively oversee student behaviour management, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with:

  • VIT registration and proven experience in delivering and managing the VCE.
  • A deep understanding of current curriculum trends within the VCE framework.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record of driving academic success and innovation.
  • Post-graduate qualifications in educational management or leadership (Desirable).
  • Active involvement in professional educational communities (Desirable).
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Organisational prowess, with a knack for motivating staff and advising students.
  • A committed approach to professional development and learning, with a passion for student wellbeing and pastoral care.
  • Demonstrated interest in ongoing professional growth, with a desire to teach Maths/Physics.
