Construction Lawyer for Major Infrastructure Projects

We are seeking a Construction Lawyer to join our in-house legal team. As a key member of the team, you will provide advice on major infrastructure projects across Australia and New Zealand.
About the OpportunityThis role offers a unique opportunity to work on a broad range of contract models, including D&C, EPC, lump sum, target cost, cost reimbursable, alliances, frameworks and joint ventures.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on contract risk, disputes and compliance.
- Lead front-end contracting, including drafting, negotiation and risk assessment.
- Build strong relationships with executives, delivery teams, and clients to resolve issues effectively.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A qualified lawyer with strong front-end construction and infrastructure experience.
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills, and confidence working across both pre-contract and delivery phases.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to engage confidently with senior executives, delivery teams and clients.
- Commercially minded and pragmatic, providing practical, business-focused advice that supports project success.
