Job Description

This role is responsible for transporting reusable medical devices between the main perioperative complex and the day surgery. The successful candidate will be required to drive a vehicle to deliver road carts containing equipment between the sites, providing support and assistance to the sterile stock team.

Main Duties
  • Drive stock between the main hospital and the surgicentre
  • Collect or deliver equipment to surrounding sites
  • Assistance with theatre set up and sterile stock management
  • Comply with state and federal laws associated with use of a motor vehicle
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A NSW Driver licence, minimum P2, with evidence of safe driving record
  • A NSW Police record check and Working with Children check
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated contribution to teamwork and quality and safety initiatives
