Industrial Technology Educator

This position involves teaching industrial technology to secondary school students, focusing on metal and timber workshops, as well as technology mandatory courses. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and implementing innovative teaching programs that cater to diverse student backgrounds.

Job Description

The successful applicant will teach industrial technology subjects, including metal, timber, and technology mandatory courses, to students in years 7 and 8. They will work collaboratively with the TAS faculty to develop and implement differentiated teaching programs that enhance student learning outcomes.

Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Approval to teach industrial technology subjects: metal, timber, and technology mandatory (years 7 and 8).
  • Ability to work collaboratively within the TAS faculty to develop and implement innovative teaching programs.
  • Demonstrated capacity for effective classroom management and practical workspace management to ensure student safety and engagement.
Benefits and Conditions

The appointee will be employed by Denison College and based at the Kelso Campus. A working with children check clearance number is required as part of the application process.
