Job Details

Our company is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for the compilation and administration of geological databases.

This is a full-time, permanent role that requires a strong background in database administration, preferably in the geology/mining sectors. You will work closely with our team to monitor and report on QAQC, provide support for software products as needed, and communicate effectively with clients.

Required skills include a minimum of 3 years' experience with database administration, SQL skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Team players with a focus on client satisfaction are encouraged to apply. This role is located in Perth, Australia, and candidates must have full working rights in the country.

Responsibilities:

  • Compilation and administration of geological databases
  • Monitoring and reporting on QAQC
  • Supporting software products as required
  • Client communication and support

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience with database administration - preferably in the geology/mining sectors
  • SQL skills are a requirement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with excellent client focus

Working Conditions:

  • Monday to Friday
  • One location
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Database Administration: Compiling and administering geological databases to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  2. QAQC Monitoring: Regularly monitoring and reporting on QAQC processes to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Software Support: Providing timely support for software products as required by the team.
  4. Client Communication: Effective communication with clients to address their needs and concerns.
