UX/UI Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled UX/UI Design Specialist to join our product design team in Sydney.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating user-centered design solutions that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design solutions, conduct user research and testing, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design user interfaces and user experiences for our flagship product, CargoWise
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers to develop and implement design solutions
  • Conduct user research and testing to inform design decisions
  • Develop and maintain design systems and style guides

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design
  • A strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Collaboration and Critique Sessions:

We hold regular design collaboration sessions where designers can present problems they're currently trying to solve and receive assistance and feedback from other designers. Our design critique sessions provide an opportunity for designers to showcase their solutions and receive constructive feedback from the entire design group.
