Key Accountabilities:

  • Drive a medium rigid vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Unload and load vehicles, and assist with manual handling tasks as needed
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to company standards and procedures
  • Collaborate with the wider transport and logistics team to achieve shared goals and objectives

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Hold a current Medium Rigid (MR) driver's license
  • Have at least 1 year of experience operating medium rigid vehicles
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of road rules and safe driving practices
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Display a motivated and reliable attitude, with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Hold a forklift license, HR or HC license, which would be highly regarded
