Secondary Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified teacher to join our community. This role can be Full-Time or Part-Time, depending on the applicant and subject areas.

Our ideal candidate has experience in teaching Humanities, Mathematics, PDHPE, or Technology subjects. While we welcome applications from teachers with other subjects as well, these areas are of particular interest.

About Our School

We aim to nurture our students with a biblical worldview, equipping them to be apprentices of Jesus. Our teachers are committed Christians who live out their faith in a rural community and desire their teaching to be grounded in a Christian worldview.

The successful candidate will be expected to support the Christian ethos of the school, contribute to its academic, pastoral, and co-curricular life, and participate in ongoing professional learning and improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Be qualified and knowledgeable about NESA syllabus documents
  • Implement effective teaching programs in required fields
  • Make adjustments to cater for student differences
  • Achieve high-quality assessment results against NESA K-10 A-E Performance Standards
  • Qualify to teach Stage 6
  • Utilize proactive management techniques to establish a safe learning environment
  • Partner with staff and parents to support students academically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually
  • Integrate digital tools into teaching practices
