Overview:

At Onset Group, we're seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to lead our team in driving technology strategy and innovation. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of our cloud platforms and ensure seamless transactions across diverse business venues.

About You:

We're looking for a proven leader with expertise in designing, supporting, and managing complex cloud infrastructure. Your experience should include strong knowledge of Azure, hybrid environments, virtualization technologies, containerization tools, network architecture, and security frameworks like NIST and ISO. Additionally, your ability to streamline processes through automation and deep understanding of compliance requirements such as GDPR and HIPAA will be essential for this role.

Earnings Potential:

We offer an attractive salary range between AU$180,000 - AU$220,000 per year, commensurate with your experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing team of desktop, systems, and network engineers, focusing on driving efficiencies across multiple locations.
  2. Cloud Strategy: Oversee cloud platforms and infrastructure strategies, ensuring the reliability of both on-premise and cloud environments.
  3. POS & Payment Systems Expertise: Ensure the integration and optimization of POS and payment systems to support seamless transactions across diverse business venues.
  4. Strategic Management: Develop and execute strategies for your team, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability of infrastructure.
  5. Project Oversight: Lead key infrastructure and cloud projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence while managing vendor relationships and technical partnerships.
  6. Security & Compliance Leadership: Ensure security protocols align with regulatory requirements, manage incident response, and drive the organisation's disaster recovery strategy.
