Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Officer to join our team at Bell Flight. As a Stores Officer, you will play a critical role in the efficient operation of our warehouse and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Coordinate and control the receipt and delivery of parts, ensuring accurate records and traceability.
  • Stockkeeping: Maintain a neat and safe store environment, with a focus on efficient stock rotation and storage.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Allocate parts to Work Orders and Sales Orders, ensuring timely completion of aircraft maintenance activities.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock movements, and supply chain activities.
  • Communication: Collaborate with workshop managers and external clients to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Quality Control: Perform regular stocktakes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Compliance: Comply with company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum three years' experience in a warehouse or supply chain role, preferably in an aviation environment.
  • Skills: Demonstrated experience in receipt, dispatch, and stockkeeping; high attention to detail; experience with inventory management software; and excellent communication skills.
  • Certifications: Hold a current driver's license and forklift certification.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
