About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contaminated Land Consultant to join our team in Brisbane or Mackay. As a key member of our Environment and Planning team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality projects and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake field programs, including premobilisation and safety planning, to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Develop and implement Sampling and Analysis Quality Plans to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.
  • Support fieldwork campaigns, including soil, groundwater, and surface water sampling, supervision of drilling, test pitting, and groundwater well installation.
  • Proactively engage with coaches and mentors to develop your technical skills and gain experience.
  • Provide high-quality analysis and reporting, adhering to ASC NEPM requirements.
  • Assist in developing reports to exceptional technical and editorial standards, working collaboratively with the team to meet client expectations.
  • Support proposal and project development for the contaminated land team.

Requirements
  • A degree in environmental engineering or science disciplines.
  • Relevant experience in contaminated land and/or groundwater investigations.
  • A strong professional work ethic and commitment to health and safety.
  • Understanding of the Environmental Protection Act 1994 and National Environment Protection Measures.
  • A desire to deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Australian citizenship or ability to obtain citizenship in the future.
  • Australian Defence baseline security clearance or ability to obtain clearance.
  • A current driver's license.
