The role of Stores Coordinator at Coulson Aviation Australia is a key position that requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities.

  • This involves overseeing the safe and accurate controlling of stores area for all inventory items, including inspection and receipt of inventory items into stores and proper tracking of inventory to meet regulatory requirements.
  • The successful applicant will be responsible for managing and controlling GSE equipment for support of all aircraft under CA control or ownership, ensuring equipment is operational and managing periodic calibration and testing as required.
  • The coordinator will also manage ordering and replenishment of inventory as requested by ground staff, establishing control to ensure inventory levels are maintained and controlled as required.
  • In addition, the Stores Coordinator will offer relief as required to Bankstown operations or any other facility operated by Coulson Aviation Group, being available for re-location on a temporary basis between operational sites.
  • The role also includes assisting with day-to-day operations to support the engineering and flight crews as required, based at Richmond facility.
  • The incumbent will satisfy position requirements of Stores Coordinator, as described in CA CASR Part 145 AMO Maintenance organization Exposition and Engineering Procedures Manual.
  • Maintaining general housekeeping of stores facilities is also an essential aspect of this role.

Key Requirements:

  • At least some experience in all aspects of warehousing and inventory management would be beneficial.
  • A current Forklift license would be desirable but not essential.
  • The successful applicant must possess good computer skills (specifically Microsoft programs) and be open to learning new programs / software's used companywide.
  • Previous aviation experience would be advantageous but not necessary.
  • Knowledge of shipping / receiving dangerous goods items would also be useful but not essential.
  • The Stores Coordinator must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills are crucial for success in this role.
  • An eye for detail and reliability are also key attributes required for this position.
