Technology Assurance Specialist

About the RoleThis role is responsible for supporting our cloud platform and application teams in delivering reusable platforms and patterns to support our enterprise transformation. You'll provide delivery and technology risk management support by identifying, articulating, and communicating risks and issues.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with architects, engineers, and platform product owners to identify, assess, and manage risks and issues
- Develop a strong understanding of the teams' needs and priorities to ensure risk and compliance is built in upfront
- Facilitate effective governance of key risk elements across ANZ to empower teams to self-check and remediate
- Be a trusted partner on the transformation journey, building strong relationships within tech teams and beyond to deliver quality risk outcomes
- Embed delivery and operational risk awareness and escalation and record risk information as needed
- Embed compliance and regulatory management
- Risk & Controls Assessment – ensure consistent documentation of risk information across ANZ for both delivery and introduced risk
- Reporting – enhance risk reporting and ensure material decisions are captured
We're looking for someone with technology domain experience, preferably in cloud platforms like GCP. You should have a good understanding of technology industry standards, including PCI-DSS, NIST, and ISO270001. Expertise in risk management, assurance, or operational excellence is essential, and we're happy to help you learn this.
We're looking for someone who can adapt to emerging market trends and optimize the way we manage risk and assurance. You should have a track record and passion for driving the efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of company policies and practices.
Strategic thinking coupled with strong execution and delivery focus is essential. You should be able to build and foster strong working relationships throughout the organisation, engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
