
Administrative Professional

The primary objective of this role is to oversee and manage the overall administration and resources in order to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for administration and resource management activities across the business
- Create and implement best practice administration strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance
- Greeting visitors, answering incoming phone calls and delivering excellent service to our customers, suppliers and contractors
- Manage business utilities such as electricity, phones, internet, etc and negotiate contracts for improved prices and terms of business
- Manage business facilities such as cleaners, electricians, IT, etc
- Manage office equipment and purchases
- Coordinate staff events and functions
- Manage all accounts administration (Bookkeeping)
- Implement efficient logistics schedule & freight cost reduction and processes to benefit the business needs
- Manage HR administration such as advertising roles, arranging interviews, preparing employment contracts, induction paperwork, performance reviews, performance improvement plans etc
- Process weekly payroll
Workplace Health & Safety:
- Promote and drive a Zero Harm culture
- Ensure adherence to WHS policies and procedures
- Consult with workers and Health and Safety representatives on WHS issues
- Ensure that workers are equipped with the information, instruction, training and supervision that they need to work safely
- Identify, assess if necessary and control hazards within their area of responsibility
- Encourage early reporting of incidents and forward information to RTW Coordinators immediately
- Assist with initiating an early return to work on suitable duties after a workplace injury
- Access sources of WHS information and systematically disseminate information to all workers
- Ensure that workers including volunteers and contractors are aware of, and abide by, all relevant health and safety procedures particularly those relating to the operation of plant and equipment
- Provide PPE as required and ensure workers are aware of correct usage and storage requirements
- Ensure all plant and equipment is properly maintained
- Maintain relevant knowledge of WHS issues
- Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours
- Leading company safety initiatives
Quality Requirements:
- Maintain the quality requirements in the processes and finished work outcomes
- Fill in all required QC/QA forms, e.g., NCR
- Participate in writing work procedures and work instructions
- Report any quality-related issues and concerns
- Participate in investigating quality issues and causes
- Ensure the QC/QA tasks are implemented when/where needed as per the work requirements
- Play an effective role in continuous improvement by making suggestions to improve work methods, processes and quality-related areas

Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
- Formal qualification in Accounting and/or Bookkeeping or equivalent
- Formal qualifications in business administration
- Experience in XERO ideal
Benefits:
- Full-time, Permanent position
- $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year salary
- 8 hour shift
