About the Role

We are seeking expressions of interest from qualified individuals to join our team of casual online tutors at UniSA Online. As a casual tutor, you will have the opportunity to teach and support students in a variety of disciplines, including Business, STEM, Health, Justice, and Creative fields.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake teaching and academic support duties in an online environment
  • Implement approaches that maximize student experience and learning outcomes
  • Provide academic support, mentoring, and advice to students
  • Apply disciplinary expertise to consult, facilitate discussions, mark assessment items, and provide feedback to students
  • Act as the first point of contact in managing student issues or complaints
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor degree and relevant professional/industry work experience
  • Ability to undertake a range of teaching duties in an online environment
  • Ability to actively engage and educate a diverse student group
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use digital techniques required for effective online teaching
  • Ability to work outside of normal working hours and on weekends
