Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dining Hall Attendant to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving meals, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of our dining hall.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about providing excellent customer service, has strong time management skills, and is able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Prepare and serve meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in the dining hall, including washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and sanitizing surfaces
  • Assist with food preparation, including meal planning, grocery shopping, and food storage
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the dining hall
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of food safety procedures and protocols
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is highly desirable
  • A Food Safety Certificate and Food Handlers Certificate are highly advantageous
