Commercial Lawyer

Accent Group Limited, a leading digitally integrated retail and distribution business in Australia and New Zealand, seeks an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to support its General Counsel with legal matters across the region. This part-time role, based at our Support Office in Cremorne VIC, requires a highly skilled lawyer with strong commercial experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, including sales, distribution, procurement technology, and sponsorship contracts. They will also advise on marketing and brand campaigns, collaborations, and trade promotions, as well as work with other functions to support Accent business initiatives. Additionally, they will provide strategic legal advice on data protection, privacy, and general commercial matters.

To be successful, you will have a Bachelor of Laws degree or equivalent, demonstrated 5+ years of post-qualification experience, and previous experience working in-house with a broad commercial background. You must be able to offer commercially focused legal services, possess excellent communication and influencing skills, and be highly organized with strong time management skills.
