About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our high-calibre team in delivering a major urban development project in Melrose Park. As a key member of our site team, you will be accountable for managing the quality assurance of activities, the project's procurement requirements and organising subcontractors onsite.

You will work closely with our site supervisors, providing engineering and technical support, and drawing on your demonstrated site and engineering experience to provide innovative solutions to complex challenges. With a robust pipeline of projects ahead, you will be exposed to infrastructure projects across diverse sectors with opportunities to work in metropolitan and regional locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, specification, design and contractual requirements;
  2. Procure materials and services from approved suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring value-for-money results;
  3. Organise and manage subcontractors onsite, ensuring timely completion of tasks and minimal disruption to project timelines;
  4. Provide engineering and technical support to site supervisors, including site inspections, problem-solving and troubleshooting;
  5. Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • At least 2 years' post-graduate experience on infrastructure projects, preferably with a strong background in site management and quality assurance;
  • Possession of excellent health, safety, environmental and quality outcomes, with a strong commitment to sustainability and responsible practices;
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of project objectives.
