Tibra Capital is seeking a skilled Hardware Systems Developer to join our Hardware Development team. As a key member of our team, you will design, develop, and deploy high-performance trading systems using state-of-the-art hardware technologies.

Our team approaches hardware systems development in the same manner as software systems, using effective development tools to ensure rapid production of high-quality, reliable solutions. We use a mix of C++, Haskell, and VHDL to develop our low-latency trading systems, so experience in any of these languages is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop improvements to our hardware stack
  • Optimize hardware designs to ensure our trading systems operate at the lowest possible latency
  • Work with our team of developers to integrate hardware solutions with software trading systems
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to develop improvements in the trading system

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3+ years of hardware design experience
  • Proficient in VHDL, Verilog, or Clash hardware design
  • Proven ability to produce reliable, well-tested hardware designs
  • Understanding of networking systems and protocols
  • Keen interest or experience with functional programming languages (Haskell, Scheme)
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and drive better efficiencies
  • Familiarity with the Xilinx tool chain
  • Interest or experience in FPGA technology
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience or interest in low-latency trading systems and technology
  • C++ experience, preferably C++17, 20, or newer
