Hardware Systems Developer

Tibra Capital is seeking a skilled Hardware Systems Developer to join our Hardware Development team. As a key member of our team, you will design, develop, and deploy high-performance trading systems using state-of-the-art hardware technologies.
Our team approaches hardware systems development in the same manner as software systems, using effective development tools to ensure rapid production of high-quality, reliable solutions. We use a mix of C++, Haskell, and VHDL to develop our low-latency trading systems, so experience in any of these languages is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop improvements to our hardware stack
- Optimize hardware designs to ensure our trading systems operate at the lowest possible latency
- Work with our team of developers to integrate hardware solutions with software trading systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to develop improvements in the trading system
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of hardware design experience
- Proficient in VHDL, Verilog, or Clash hardware design
- Proven ability to produce reliable, well-tested hardware designs
- Understanding of networking systems and protocols
- Keen interest or experience with functional programming languages (Haskell, Scheme)
- Willingness to learn new technologies and drive better efficiencies
- Familiarity with the Xilinx tool chain
- Interest or experience in FPGA technology
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Experience or interest in low-latency trading systems and technology
- C++ experience, preferably C++17, 20, or newer

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and experience:
