Painter Specialist

At Job2Go Pty Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team in Craigieburn VIC. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimate materials required for each project.
• Measure surfaces and analyze job specifications to determine material quantities.
• Set up and secure scaffolding, cradles, and ladders.
• Protect surrounding areas from paint drips and spills using drop sheets.
• Remove and store fixtures to prevent damage.
• Sand, scrape, or use chemical paint removers to remove old paint or finishes.
• Repair and prepare surfaces by fixing woodwork, filling or sealing holes, cracks, and joints.
• Clean surfaces to remove dust, dirt, and grease.
• Apply primers or sealers to ensure proper paint adhesion and durability.
• Select and mix paints to achieve desired colors.
• Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using various techniques.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as spray guns or airless sprayers.
• Create unique and decorative paint finishes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and clients.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements:

• Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or Certificate IV in Painting.
• At least two (2) years of relevant Painting experience.
