Senior Project Officer Role

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced individual to provide administrative support and undertake forward planning and tracking of key team priorities.

The successful candidate will work with internal and external stakeholders to prepare for Board and Committee presentations, brief senior executives, Commissioners and government, and assist in the production of speeches, submissions and other agency publications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support, undertaking forward planning and tracking of key team priorities.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to prepare for Board and Committee presentations, brief senior executives, Commissioners and government, and assist in the production of speeches, submissions and other agency publications.
  • Support workforce capability through process review and development, knowledge management, systems and data, and Commissioner induction.
  • Supervise and support junior staff in the team, branch and broader organisation.
  • Coordinate events throughout the year, including preparation for key stakeholder meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in a relevant field such as administration, regulation, projects, communications and engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organise and prioritise a demanding workload.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including influencing, negotiating and working collaboratively with team members and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work across different workstreams and tasks, managing multiple requests from various sources.
