Rehabilitation Case Manager Position:

This role involves supporting business areas in the effective management of health, safety, and wellbeing in the workforce through delivering end-to-end health case management activities for injured or ill employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver rehabilitation case management activities including compensation claims and non-compensation cases.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop efficient case management solutions based on relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage rehabilitation providers to ensure safe and durable rehabilitation outcomes.
  • Provide HR/WHS advice and support to managers.
  • Support incident and hazard reporting and intervention activities.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR/WHS or experience working in HR/WHS in an Australian Public Service environment is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of WHS legislation, policy, and procedures in the APS context.
  • Experience in rehabilitation case management.
  • High-level communication, relationship building, interpersonal, and influencing skills with experience in provision of HR/WHS advice to managers.
  • Sound analytical, problem-solving, and dispute resolution skills.

Contract Details:

This is a 3-month contract with potential to go permanent. A mix of office and remote work options are available.
