We are seeking a dedicated and experienced teacher to fill an ongoing position at our college. This role is responsible for teaching English and Humanities and Social Sciences subjects to students in Years 7-10.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach English and Humanities and Social Sciences subjects to students in Years 7-10, promoting academic excellence and personal growth.
  • Contribute to the holistic education of students, aligned with Catholic Education principles, fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Support student academic, personal, and spiritual growth, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the college team to promote student wellbeing and outcomes, ensuring a cohesive approach to education.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A proven track record of teaching English and/or Humanities and Social Sciences at primary or secondary level, with a strong understanding of curriculum requirements.
  • Certification relevant to child safety, as required by Catholic Education Tasmania, with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • The ability to commence in Term 4 or at the start of the school year, with flexibility to accommodate part-time or full-time arrangements based on candidate skills and competencies.
