We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Specialist to join our Residential Aged Care team in a dynamic and supportive environment.
As a Personal Care Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of residents, providing personalized care and support to enhance their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality personal care services to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and hygiene.
- Assist Registered Nurses with documentation, vital signs, medication administration, and resident assessments.
- Support residents with meal consumption, nutrition, and hydration.
- Contribute to infection control and prevention initiatives.
- Provide palliative care, restorative care, and pain management services.
- Liaise with residents' families, doctors, and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- Certification in Aged Care or Individual Support (or equivalent).
- Current COVID-19 vaccinations and annual flu shot.
- First aid and CPR certification.
- Minimum 6 months of full-time experience in Aged Care as a Personal Care Worker in Australia.
- Current Police Check (under 12 months old) and NDIS Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
