Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Engineering Excellence: Building robust, observable, resilient, tested, secure, and scalable applications using CICD, IaC, and version control.
  • Documentation and Communication: Crafting clear documentation for technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing valuable insights and outputs from models, processes, and data products.

Requirements:

  • Deep Python Knowledge: Proficiency in standard library, canonical best practices, and multiple ML libraries.
  • Strong Software Engineering Principles: Understanding design patterns, architecture, and development methodologies.
  • Bayesian Statistics Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Bayesian statistical methods and their applications.
  • Experience with Multivariate Time Series Data: Handling complex time-series data sets.
  • Statistical Inference Algorithms: Implementing particle-filters and variational inference algorithms.
  • Fundamental Mathematics: Strong understanding of probability theory, linear algebra, calculus, and machine learning fundamentals.
  • Machine Learning Fundamentals: Familiarity with machine learning concepts and techniques.
  • Quantitative Degree: Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in statistics, data science, or comparable quantitative fields.
  • Cloud Computing Background: Experience with cloud computing platforms, including GCP and Pulumi.
  • Distributed Data Processing: Working with distributed data processing frameworks.
  • MLOps Experience: Implementing machine learning operations in production environments.
