Practitioner for Vulnerable Populations

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Child Protection Practitioner to join our team at the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing. This role is responsible for providing critical inquiry leadership, case planning review and case management expertise.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of social justice, complex family dynamics and Aboriginal culture. They will also possess knowledge of legislative, policy and practice requirements relating to Aboriginal children, families and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning, review and management of issues in line with best practice principles and legislative requirements.
- Provide case planning advice, guidance and support to others.
- Directly support and input into cases where there is unacceptable risk to the child.
