Job Title: Musical Director for Keyboard Ensemble

About the Role
Tintern Grammar is seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Accompanist/Head of Keyboard to provide exceptional musical support and leadership to our School's music program. As a key member of our School, you will work directly with the Director of Music and the music faculty to deliver high-level musical activities and performances.

About You
We are looking for an accomplished accompanist and high-level musician with experience working with students to Diploma and VCE level. You will have outstanding organisational and communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for music education. Excellent proficiency in keyboard instruments, including piano and digital keyboards, is essential. Comprehensive knowledge of music theory, repertoire, and ensemble accompaniment is also required. You should be able to work autonomously while contributing valuable insights and innovations to the music program.

Responsibilities
The position reports directly to the Director of Music and responsibilities include coordination of all keyboard staff, students, and resources. A high level of competence on your instrument and experience as an accompanist of choral and instrumental repertoire is required. Proven music teaching experience is desirable. You must have current VIT registration or a current Working with Children Check. In addition to this role, there is an opportunity to undertake seasonal work as a Musical Director of School Productions for the right candidate. Experience in this area will be highly regarded.
