Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent patient care and support as a Full-Time Dental Assistant/Receptionist. This role requires a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our exceptional team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional manner.
  • Schedule appointments and process payments and health insurance claims.
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage patient files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dentists and hygienists.
  • Provide supportive care to patients during procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates require:

  • A Certificate III in dental assisting or 2 years of experience in the industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of dental terminology, infection control principles, and basic treatment procedures.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • A professional presentation and punctuality.
  • Able to take initiative and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with implant procedures would be an advantage.
  • Experience with digital scanners would be an advantage.
  • Laboratory skills would be an advantage.
  • Reception skills would be an advantage.
  • Experience with Oasis software would be an advantage.
