**Job Summary**

The role of Data Insights Specialist involves supporting planning and facilities initiatives by collecting and analyzing demographic and statistical data. This includes the administration, examination, synthesis, conversion, and analysis of various data sets to inform future planning decision-making processes.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior staff to generate written reports and recommendations to support project development, expansions, and land acquisitions. They will also respond to technical enquiries, provide information and solutions to resolve matters, and offer advice to internal and external stakeholders.

This is an entry-level position that requires a relevant degree (or currently studying) in social sciences, urban or town planning, geospatial analytics, or property. The ideal candidate will have strong GIS and mapping systems experience and be able to acquire new knowledge quickly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administration, examination, synthesis, conversion, and analysis of demographic and statistical data
  • Supporting senior staff in generating written reports and recommendations
  • Responding to technical enquiries and providing information and solutions
  • Providing advice to internal and external stakeholders
  • Assisting team members to complete activities and tasks to aid in performing demographic analysis
  • Interpreting policies, guidelines, and procedures to determine the best course of action

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences, urban or town planning, geospatial analytics, or property
  • Strong GIS and mapping systems experience
  • Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Passion for planning and analytics
  • Able to acquire new knowledge quickly
