Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Audit Services Specialist to join our APAC Audit Services Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for coordinating, overseeing, and executing successful audit engagements with a primary focus on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Financial Crime (Fin Crime).
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and collaborate with the global AML and Fin Crime audit team on the identification of risks and execution of internal audits in line with the internal audit plan.
- Contribute to the evolution of the AML and Fin Crime internal audit strategy, including risk assessment and coverage strategy.
- Provide strategic thinking, thought leadership, and guidance on identifying key risks and assessing the design and operating effectiveness of the controls supporting AML and Fin Crime activities to the audit team.
- Plan, oversee, and direct the AML and Fin Crime audit activities in APAC to achieve the goals of the AML and Fin Crime audit strategy.
- Establish strong working relationships and communications with key stakeholders in APAC.
- Maintain active involvement with, and present at, executive, oversight, and steering committees, as required.
- Significant AML and Financial Crime subject matter expertise gained in a financial services environment.
- Professional certifications (e.g., ACAMS, CPA, CIA, ACA, ACCA) are preferable.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines relating to AML and Fin Crime in Australia and/or the APAC region.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Able to work in a hybrid and global environment.
- Strong report writing and workpaper documentation skills.
- Project management and time management skills.
- Ability to manage and maintain stakeholder relationships.
