About UsChandler Macleod is a leading provider of mining services, committed to safety, innovation, and excellence. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Lube Technician to join our mining operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine lubrication and maintenance on a wide range of Fix and mobile mining equipment.
- Monitor fluid levels and change oils, greases, and other lubricants according to manufacturer guidelines and operational needs.
- Inspect and replace filters, belts, and other essential components to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Conduct basic diagnostic checks and report any issues to the maintenance supervisor.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
- Previous experience as a lube technician, preferably in the mining or heavy equipment industry.
- Strong understanding of lubrication techniques and equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with mining equipment and operations is a plus.
- Ability to work in a remote and challenging environment, including extended shifts.
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license; certifications in relevant fields are advantageous.
