About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team at Y Schools Queensland - Senior Redlands Campus. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a critical role in delivering academic and wellbeing programs to students in Science and HPE, as well as supporting the delivery of vocational training programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs to students in Science and HPE, with a focus on creating a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
  • Support the Head of Campus/School in the operation of the campus, ensuring educational, wellbeing, and vocational objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan, write, and deliver structured lessons that differentiate and personalise learning for each student.
  • Assess and provide meaningful feedback and reports on student learning, supporting students with diverse needs and abilities.
Requirements
  • Hold a relevant University degree and current Queensland College of Teachers Registration.
  • Experience in Science and HPE teaching, with a focus on creating inclusive and engaging learning environments.
  • Ability to apply knowledge to plan and prepare teaching and learning programs, meeting the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to plan and apply behaviour management strategies.
