We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Program Officer to lead our Environmental Recovery Program in Queensland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a range of environmental recovery projects across the state.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the administration of the Environmental Recovery Program, including project assessment, grant and procurement management, evaluation and reporting, communication, stakeholder engagement and governance.
  • Engage with First Nations peoples, government agencies, and other external stakeholders to build and maintain relationships and cultivate support for the development, implementation, and delivery of environmental projects.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the resilience of the environment and communities in the face of disaster events.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and prioritize environmental recovery projects and develop project plans and budgets.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams and stakeholders on environmental recovery and disaster management.
