Job Description

A Dairy Cattle Farm Operator is required to manage the daily operations of a dairy farm. The ideal candidate will have experience in milk production, livestock management, and equipment maintenance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Milking plant operation and maintenance
  • Identifying and reporting faulty equipment
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team
  • Recording instrument data, such as milk vat temperatures and cow numbers
  • Understanding and adhering to safe working practices

The operator should also possess:

  • Basic scientific knowledge and understanding of machine repair, artificial insemination, and fertiliser mix design
  • Ability to operate standard measuring equipment and computerised systems
  • Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision and contribute to the team's success

We offer a comprehensive salary package, including a competitive salary from $65,835 per annum (plus superannuation), to attract an experienced and skilled Dairy Cattle Farm Operator.
