We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Speech Pathologist to join our Movement Disorders Program at Wantirna Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of evidence-based strategies for the assessment and management of complex patients with movement disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage patients with movement disorders, including Parkinson's disease and Parkinson's-related disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve speech, voice, cognition, swallowing, and secretion management
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop strategies for improvement
- Strong clinical skills and experience in speech pathology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
