Role Overview:

The Workplace Health and Safety Manager plays a crucial role in promoting a culture of health and safety within our organisation.

This position is responsible for various aspects of health and safety management, including policy development, incident investigation, safety audits, and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of Possability's Work, Health and Safety Management Systems.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the annual WHS action planning and monitoring processes.
  • Develop relevant safety policies, procedures, and guidance material.
  • Promote hazard identification and incident reporting to build a strong safety culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Health and Safety (WHS) or extensive relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a health and safety role.
  • Knowledge and understanding of all applicable health and safety legislation in all states and territories.
