About The Opportunity

Our company is seeking an experienced mobile plant operator for works based at a large-scale project in the Peel area. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that would be well-suited to someone local to the region.

Responsibilities
  • Operate mobile plant equipment in a safe and efficient manner, maximizing productivity without compromising on safety
  • Complete required pre-start checks on machinery
  • Maintain a high standard of work
About You
  • Hold 3+ years' experience in a similar role (mine site rehabilitation or production experience)
  • Have experience operating at least one of the following:
    • Cat trucks: 777 and 785
    • Cat dozers: D9 and D11
    • Cat scrapers: 637 and 657
    • Cat, Hitachi, and Komatsu excavators: 330, 336, 1250, 1900, and 2500
    • Cat graders: 16H, 16M, and 24H
  • Hold relevant machine operator tickets and/or VOCs
  • Display a commitment to the health, safety, and well-being of all employees
  • possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • hold a valid Australian driver's license
  • hold a valid white card
  • be willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen
