Job Opportunity: Coordinator

The YMCA is a leading provider of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services, with over 50+ locations across the South East region.

This full-time Coordinator position requires an experienced leader to manage day-to-day operations and a team of Educators.

A dedicated management team provides support for this role, consisting of Coordinators, Senior Coordinator, Area Coordinator, Regional Manager, and the OSHC Manager.

Your Workspace

YMCA Loganholme OSHC is located within the Loganholme State School grounds in a new double-space room, accommodating 135 children.

Our service prioritizes community and belonging, promoting children's agency and spontaneous play experiences.

As an OSHC Coordinator, you will:

  • Assist in developing quality programs
  • Manage program operations and staffing rosters
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Undertake administrative tasks
  • Collaborate with families and the school community

Selection Criteria

  • Relevant qualifications in Childcare or Teaching (Diploma in Children Services)
  • Experience in programming and quality childcare
  • Effective administration and documentation skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
  • Certificate of Suitability to work with Children and Young People (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain
