WMH Pharmacist Job OpportunityLocated within beautiful tranquil surroundings, our hospital is a 3rd Schedule Aged Rehabilitation facility.Job OverviewThe WMH Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmacy services including:
  • Dispensing and distribution of inpatient medications in accordance with NSW Health policy
  • Counselling patients regarding their medications
  • Managing medication procurement and storage in line with legal requirements
To succeed in this role you will need:
  • Current Pharmacy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Extensive experience providing pharmacy services and clinical pharmacy in a hospital setting (minimum 3 years)
  • High level experience using health information systems
Working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will apply independent professional judgement when dealing with complex situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense and distribute inpatient medications
  • Provide patient counselling on medication use
  • Manage medication procurement and storage

Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in hospital pharmacy
