Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Part-Time Environmental Licensing Officer to join our team at HUDSON. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service and Support: Provide high-level customer service and support to clients and stakeholders, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  2. Application Processing: Process applications efficiently and effectively, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
  3. Conflict Resolution: Identify and resolve conflict situations in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all parties are satisfied with the outcome.
  4. Fee and Charge Management: Manage fees and charges for new applications and existing authorisations, ensuring that they are processed in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  5. Advice and Assistance: Provide accurate and timely advice and assistance to internal and external stakeholders at all levels on matters relating to the grant, review, and renewal of environmental authorisations.
  6. Licensing System Improvement: Actively participate in licensing system improvements and testing procedures that comply with State Government systems, policies, and procedures.
  7. Grant, Review, and Renewal: Contribute to the accurate, efficient, and timely grant, review, and renewal of environmental authorisations (licences, exemptions, and works approvals).
Requirements
  1. Customer Service Experience: Proven experience in providing high-level customer service and support to clients and stakeholders.
  2. Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  3. Relationship Building: Experience in developing and maintaining sound working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve problems, and organise priorities to ensure customer demands are met and workflow is maintained.
