As a key member of our Workplace Health and Safety team, you will play a critical role in building and executing programs that create a safe workplace and promote a culture of safety.
Key Responsibilities- Health and Wellbeing Program Planning: Develop and implement health and injury prevention measures and campaigns that align with Amazon's standards and local requirements.
- Occupational Health Management: Coordinate and implement an occupational health management/early intervention process for work-related injuries.
- Analysis and Improvement: Analyze injury data/metrics and develop appropriate health measures to reduce injuries.
- Strategic Delivery: Support HR and Safety in organizing effective systems for strategic delivery of occupational health care and injury management.
- Business Recommendations: Uncover areas of opportunity and present business recommendations that contribute to the shaping of our health and injury management program.
- External Partnerships: Cooperate with external partners and organizations to improve health and wellbeing, injury prevention, and psychological risks.
- Leadership and Supervision: Directly coordinate and supervise occupational health nurses and manage the network panel of Doctors.
- Incident Management: Participate in incident management teams as required based on emergency medical and health topics.
- Pyschosocial Risk Program: Develop strategic plans and execute through working with Operations, PXT, and WHS teams to manage psychosocial risk across the organization.
- Bachelor's Degree: In a relevant field such as Health and Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of program or project management experience, 5+ years of team management experience, and 5+ years of cross-functional project delivery experience.
- Skills: Proven analytical capabilities, exceptional communication and project management skills, and outstanding judgment, compassion, and interpersonal skills.
