About the Role

The Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hepatology Research Coordinator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage research and clinical trials within the Hepatology Unit, ensuring compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Research and the Head of Unit in Hepatology to develop and implement research strategies.
  • Coordinate the preparation of relevant data for publication and presentation at meetings.
  • Develop and maintain databases, manage clinical trial material, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Science) or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to access databases and technical information via the internet.
