Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join our Haematology Research Group at the University of New South Wales. The successful candidate will conduct independent and collaborative research in the field of Haematology, focusing on studying the mechanisms underlying thrombosis and thrombocytopenia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct independent and collaborative research in Haematology, with a focus on thrombosis and thrombocytopenia
  • Develop research expertise and advance current projects
  • Contribute to research development and implementation
  • Collaborate with researchers from other institutions
Requirements
  • PhD in a related discipline, or relevant work experience in a laboratory
  • Advanced knowledge in molecular and cellular biology, microscopy, and flow cytometry
  • Expertise/experience in Omics will be an advantage
  • Demonstrated research experience with mice and human patient samples
  • Demonstrated technical, qualitative research, and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated experience in drafting and submitting ethics applications and reporting to committees
  • High-level communication skills and ability to network effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team and collaborate across disciplines
