Job Title: Senior Windows Server Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Windows Server Engineer to join our team. This role is critical to supporting the department's digital infrastructure and ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of its Windows Server environment.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Windows Server technologies and enterprise infrastructure components. They will be proficient in Microsoft System Centre products and Intune for monitoring and patching, and have a strong understanding of cyber security tools and methodologies relevant to government environments.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will provide expert-level support for Windows Server environments including Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, PKI, ADFS, DFS, File and Print services, and Group Policy with AGPM. They will also manage and maintain systems monitoring and patching using Microsoft System Centre tools (SCOM, SCCM/MECM) and Intune, and troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with Windows Server technologies and enterprise infrastructure components.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft System Centre products and Intune for monitoring and patching.
  • Strong understanding of cyber security tools and methodologies relevant to government environments.

Benefits:

This role offers a 12-month contract with the possibility of extensions. The successful candidate will work full-time, 40 hours per week, and will be part of a dynamic and motivated team.
