About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Carer to join our team at Edward Collick House in Kalgoorlie. As a Carer, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, promoting their physical, social, emotional, and psychological wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support residents with their daily care needs, including personal hygiene, showering, and toileting
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as dressing and grooming
  • Administer medication as required
  • Collaborate with team members to promote a harmonious working environment
  • Support and advocate for the rights of older people

Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with residents
  • Valid Police Clearance and NDIS Screen Check
  • Evidence of Flu and Covid vaccinations
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
